Sure RS had problems. They don't fit today's values. But they had good intentions and had much success. At its peak around 1900, they were fewer than 5% of aboriginal students. So they were hardly the root of all aboriginal problems. The USA had more RS but is not obsessed with them because that country has not been overtaken by hateful leftists bigots.
