Don't forget, it's always racism. Even when it clearly is not, it is.

Me: In by far the largest Covid hotspot, the virus is spreading fastest in South Asian, i.e. Indian, communities.
Big brain them: That's because, due to systemic racism, minorites lack the financial resources to allow them to implement measures that would help keep them from them contracting the virus. Hard to social distance when you have to take the bus instead of having a car to drive. *Snide laugh and sneers.
Me: But the median income of South Asians exceeds the median income of white people by a quite significant amount.

Dude, they simply don't wear masks, live with 8 other people in their immediate family, and have daily family gatherings with their 150 person "indirect family"
And they can't afford to separate those 150 guests with plexiglass. Checkmate systemic racist.
Yep. The is no advantage in placating them as they will dismiss you as racist regardless. If you are conservative, white, male, Christian, European, or believe in hiring on merit, then the left is your enemy.
I mean, I fucking hate that there are people who will use this to bang on the systemic racism and oppression drum, but it is kind of interesting that the mortality rate is so much higher. There's a big write-up at the top of /r/nootropics about how vitamin D helps to improve covid outcomes, the fact that outcomes are worse in black people makes me wonder if it's due to them being more likely to be vitamin D deficient.
Of course, neither the article you posted nor the sub-article bothers to even mention vitamin D, preferring to bang the drum about "increasing inequities".
