I think the term "queer" has been used for a long time by self-identifying queers as basically homosexual or transsexual or sometimes draq queens, even if they're straight. Basically any sort of sexual deviancy and associated weirdness.

Queer is a synonym for weird, and there probably isn't a more all-inclusive definition than that.
