This is ideological discrimination. They'll only let you in if you agree with the Liberal party ideologically (meaning you're loyal to party, not country).

This is not something that the military should be doing in a free society. This is what the SS or Baathist Republican Guard did - recruit only people who are loyal to the ruling party so that they can then be turned on their own citizens to repress dissenters.

No uniformed member of the armed forces should be obeying orders to screen recruits for party loyalty. Every uniformed soldier has a duty to disobey that.
