From my own personal experience it's the Boomers who love Neocon shit like Kenney and Doug Ford. They're also the ones terrified of COVID so they're currently the ones praising how good the lockdowns are. Most millennial are liberal as fuck and they're the most pussified generation alive right now, and I'm speaking as a millennial myself. They're always bitching about how Boomers ruined the job market but pretend like it's not their own fault for getting a shitty arts degree.
All the people I look up to and respect are older Gen X people I've worked with in the past. It's not even anything special. Just as a general pattern, the most reasonable and non-retarded people I've dealt with in the past are usually Gen X.
As for Gen Z, they're still kids I guess so it's too early to tell. Easy to make fun of because of their Tiktok addiction but I've done stupid shit as a kid too.
So my question is, why is that? What makes Gen X the more rational and BASED than the other groups?
We are basically the only group that has not lived through a propaganda war.
Boomers lived through the cold war and duck & cover propaganda. Millenials lived through all the LGBTpqrstlmnop2+ crap. & global warming propaganda their entire lives.
Watch the movies that were released during our teenage years for an idea of why we are based as fuck.
Never thought of it like that, good points.
That shit was so redicukous we new it was fake. Jyst like the wasting water lessons. We knew it wend down to the seotic and out the weeping bed, it wasnt wasted at all. We could see the grass was greener over the weaping bed. E learned about the water cycle. I think the difference is we saw all the supports of society fall. Things our parents took for granted evaporated. Pensions, hobs for life, quality healthcare, purchasing power ...., we got started, burned in 08, sawwynne destroy ontario and get voted right back in. We saw the wind retards crank our hydro price, we saw our manufacturing jobs evaporate, china stole our telecomunications and housimg blew past wver being relative to income. We went from a bright future to well fucked. We double sped in 16 with the me too, feminazi, intersectionalism. We remember families before the smoke and poke im not happy days. Many of us weee raped hard by family law and know there is no future for us. So here we sit watching these globalists rape the corpse of our county and calling us racist when we speak up. We know they have control, we know the courts are rigged and we will sit and bide our time.
We also know history, many great people have put info out there and we talk about it and share. We kmow what happened to the Kulaks in russia. Yuri Bezmenov opened our eyes to subversion. We know event 201. We know about the world economic forum, eyes are open. Sadly our society will fail.
Natural Selection works.
The Silent Generation fought and thought they won, so they lived life and are to tired to keep up the fight anymore.
The Boomer Generation fought and thought they won, so they are trying to live life and many are to tired to keep up the fight anymore.
Gen X - My own take. My Great Grand Parents, my Grand Parents and My Parents all passed on warnings and lessons from their past. Those warnings and lessons didn't make sense then but they sure as hell do now.
Edit: I have seen based in all Generations and each Generation has its time. Gen X are in mid-life, a part of the past and a part of the future.
Millennials have fully embraced the multiculti society, most of them don't even know how safe canada was just 30 years ago. Terrorism, gang shootings, truck attacks, daily stabbings were non existent/rare. Yet liberals (mainly woman) love inviting the 3rd world for the sick ethnic food yo!
I’m a final year Boomer, so on the cusp of Gen X. I think you generalize too much. The main point of agreement is that the youngest generations are pussified. Having spent many years abroad I can confidently say these generational classifications apply mainly to Canada and the US, and to a lesser extent other western countries. The problems facing western countries and the attitudes people have in these countries are not shared by much of the world. The people I have worked with from much of Asia, Australia and NZ, and parts of Africa, regardless of age, are much tougher, driven and don’t want to put up with shit. They don’t need safe spaces. They want to work hard and do well and make money. Women are feminine and men are masculine. The western world has neutered three or four successive generations. It’s a tragedy. Parts of the so-called developing world will pass the west in a couple of decades, and that’s ignoring parts that are already ahead.
indoctrination via public education system wasn’t as rampant
Gen X got to see its parents "laid off" by the corporations in the recession. Before that, employees tended to have lifelong loyalties to their bosses. Then the bosses fucked the parents over, and the kids learned not to trust authority because they're just out to fuck you over too. That extends to government. It's that healthy distrust and willingness to question motives that makes you "based."
I will admit that Doug Ford tricked me. He's certainly not his brother.
Gen Z are like 23-24-25 now so not kids anymore. They are the ones that started the worst Wokeism crap when the got to university in 2014-2015. Read Coddling Of the American mind for full details. They were raised ultra coddled, ultra entitled, even worse than us garbage generation millenials. But unlike the millenials they have a growing BASED counterculture that millenials dont understand and freak out about (GenZ things like having no problem with gay people but thinking pride month is dumb/not needed anymor3 and Woke extremism isnt actually nice or good completely freak out millenials). So they are worse and better at the same time.
Gen Alpha are the current kids. Age 10 is the oldest now.
I went to high school in the 90's. Global warming was a thing, as was recycling, stop racism, etc. But we ignored it, because it wasn't shoved in our face.
**Fun fact: My Grade 9 Social Studies textbook had a section on the Trump family, highlighting the Donald himself as the example of American success...oh man if I only knew then what I knew now! **
