Your comments are always high quality and always on the spot. I think you're onto something with the power structure of government, infiltrated by lobbyists, and funded by foreign billionaires and NGOs. There are all sorts of theories regarding endgame if there is a global cabal of wealthy people with a power/money/control agenda. It really puts your daily life into perspective.
I have long since believed that our institutions are actually intended to serve us. What deflates me is that I don't know if any meaningful resistance can be formed. There is no freedom loving billionaire that is willing to get involved to represent the freedom and liberty of the individual, and there is no political leader with the will to do so either. I think this is why the Trump fight is so important to a lot of people, he represents to them the last fight against globalism and corporate domination.
It is really isolating to think and believe that so much of the world we live in are meaningless hamster wheels, mazes, dead ends, pointless endeavors, working toward outcomes that are never ours to determine. It is deeply frustrating to the individual, and demoralizing to the people as there is a sense of "nothing to live for." Worst of all, where is the fight?
There is no fight in Canada I can tell you that, I don't know the last time we had it as a nation, our identity is premised on anti-Americanism, and that belies a deep insecurity and emptiness of our own understanding of our country and its history. I don't know what it takes for regular people to wake up, we've all walked around with our heads jammed up our asses for decades and decades, now our education system is lost to radical Marxists, university too, the media is a transparent propaganda arm of the government, our social institutions are staffed by bootlicking incompetents, and our morally bankrupt leadership is bought and paid for, and Canadians are none the wiser, couldn't be happier, enjoy product, anticipate next product.
