Note: others have pointed out that historically, genocides have been over specific conflicts, and may not have been manufactured. As well, losing gun rights has not always resulted in immediate genocide, such as in the E.U.
However, gun control increased in Canada this year, as well as hatred, tensions in general, dehumanizing comments, and compliance. A proverbial powder-keg.
