Claiming National Socialism is the same as socialism and communism and leftwing (its neither left- nor rightwing and a completely different political way that does not fit in party politic lines) is the same as saying Antifa is anti-fascist and because it says anti-fascist in the name, they must be the good guys. Like saying the good guy squad cant be bad because it has good guy in the name.
Hitler on the choosing of the name:
Socialism and socialist definition has evolved over past century. It wa sa relatively new word at turn of 20th century. You cant judge the name and use of the word based on today's usage. National Socialism was made up of traditionally left and right leaning aspects, from state controlled (not owned, just monitored to ensure they were keeping people and natsoc ideals first and foremost) industries to belief in privately owned business and property adn so on. Health of people was a major concern, too. The Nazi social welfare provisions included old age insurance, rent supplements, unemployment and disability benefits, old-age homes and interest-free loans for married couples, along with healthcare insurance, which was not decreed mandatory until 1941. No one would consider those rightwing policies either, but the entire system cant be judged on the left vs right 'us vs them' mindset of current politics either. That's the major fallacy. People think you have to be one or the other because its the only choice theyve ever known or been taught and thats by design.
Look into natsoc economics and policy and youll see a wide variety of modern left and right ideas. The name is quite fitting, but judging it on modern views of socialism and fitting into left vs right because of a name is a mistake.
Its state capitalism that prevents foreign ownership with an ample social net. Was all good until the foreign bankers demanded their cut. China is the good side of German doctrine and the bad side of Russian Doctrine.
