That's just reddit these days. It got taken over by the kind of 40 year old women who routinely use baby-talk despite being childless.
What you're seeing there appears to be an anti-Trump subreddit inspired by a smug anti-Trump tweet from a video game writer (and it appears to be one of the few subreddits left that has any original content.)
The state of that site.
per capita, 40 times more Americans die of Covid than Japanese.
3306 in Japan died of Covid. 345,000 in USA died of Covid.
That's a huge difference. But before we compare, we really need to know if the two countries are even using the same definitions for a Covid death.
A Covid death in the US is someone that died with Covid and not because of Covid, meaning US deaths are exaggerated.
I suspect that Japan defines a Covid death as someone that actually dies because of Covid and not with Covid. I'm sure I could look this up, but I gotta shut down now. I might try to look it up later.
And they actually care about their elderly - hell it’s even a big part of the reason Japan invests in robotics. They want to develop electronic caretakers rather than import cheap foreign labor, because the elderly would never stand for it.
It's largely due to Japan's isolationism that they escaped the worse of covid.
So these fucking idiots are unwittingly supporting Trump's fundamental isolationist philosophy by whining like this.
How can people stand to be so retarded? Like, is it fun to see a retard in the mirror every morning? What do they get out of being like this?
That sub really is cancer
