It's sad, because if these idiots even stopped to think for a second, they would realize that it's a scam to push production from the West to China.

Dependence on petroleum is not going away (it's used to make nearly everything)
For every ton of carbon we stop emitting, China will make up the difference and then some.
We continue to buy their cheap products on Amazon in increasing numbers, which drives up emissions even more.

So by destroying our carbon emissions in favour of China, we will probably end up INCREASING emissions more than if we had done nothing.

Yep. Gotta shut down Factory X in Townsville because it's bad and old and reminiscent of days past.

Instead of justine saying "here's $100 Million, upgrade that fucker to modern standards, hire Canadians, and start producing Made In Canada products", he planks, hugs Pooh, and demands that we do better by paying more taxes.
