I wish the media would stop talking about curfews in Ontario. It's like they are wishing it into existence.
A curfew is going to make things worse, not better. I like to shop after 10 when the stores are dead. The roads are dead. I like going for night rides listening to podcasts to clear my head. To keep me from going insane. With things closed at 8pm, stores are going to be more crowded.
The whole idea behind a curfew is that it's going to prevent indoor social gatherings. Meanwhile there is absolutely no proven evidence of asymptomatic spread and the vast majority of people don't attend social gatherings with a cold. Meanwhile lots of people go to work with a cold. And then spread the virus in crowded supermarkets, Amazon fulfillment centres, etc.

A refreshingly naive way of looking at it!
The Star, the Sun, the Globe and Mail, etc, all get their talking points directly from the federal government.
They're not wishing it into existence, their incepting the plan that the government has already decided on into the collective mind.
Don't get any ideas. We're not taking anything off the table, Folks.
