Other than Pierre, they've been useless. O'toole has been in since August, he's barely heard of in the news, his social media presence is lacking. While I hate the democrats, they attacked Trump relentlessly throughout the pandemic. They didn't just disappear. The only thing I can think of is pollsters/focus groups convincing the CPC to go light on Trudeau because of the optics. Sure Trudeau would've still passed whatever he wanted to, but at least the CPC could have the attention of attempting to stop some of this madness.

The CPC doesn’t have any principles. They stand simply for rural voters to say “Errrr red bad me vote blue.” They are, however, controlled opposition and completely useless. They let the brain dead NPCs on the left have an enemy to vent at and the equally brain dead NPCs on the right have someone they think they support.
