Yeah, I mean I'm not a fan of the Conservative party as some of you know, but this seems to me like O'Toole jumping on a chance to get rid of Sloan.

I've volunteered for political campaigns before, but I was never involved with donations so I don't know if donations are vetted routinely or what.

On one hand I'd have to imagine with so many donations from so many different people how could a candidate possibly know everyone who donated to them?

On the other hand, if I was Sloan, knowing O'Toole hated me and wanted me gone I'd have had these donations vetted more thoroughly, but that's 20/20 hindsight there.

I remember in 2019 when Bernie Sanders got a donation from the wife of a billionaire his campaign didn't know until they were told by the media, after which he pledged to return the donation.
