The unemployment rate has "conditions" (lies) to make it seem lower than it is. It has to be way way more than this.
Just like the inflation rate.
With lockdowns in Ontario and Quebec (which even has a curfew) it won't get better. Didn't NB just announce a regional lockdown?
Does this include those in jail, mental institutions, and long-term hospitalizations not working?
(For that matter, the military and government positions)
ADT estimated the amount of payrolls that went away. Unemployment is a different measure with conditions on it - for example, if you have stopped looking for work, you are no longer unemployed.
