When the Conservative party openly believes that Canadians will never vote for social conservatives it’s clear they are just Liberals in disguise. Funny thing is, there are a lot of conservative people in Canada, including immigrants. But the Conservative Party has lost control of its messaging and is letting the media control the story. A strong leader that can attract voters is needed, not another pansy who checks to see which way the wind is blowing before talking policy. If the Conservatives are basically the same as the Liberals why would people change their vote from a liberal to Conservative? The Conservatives are dumb.

...as an officer, which doesn't count because officers are bred to be unprincipled, self-interested careerists, meaning they lack the honourable qualities you'd expect of a soldier.

In fact, his crushing Pierre for doing too good a job and making him look bad is perfectly in keeping with the officer ethos. That's the type of person officers are bred to be.

But now that he's reneged on his promise to end the carbon tax, his entire platform is discredited. Because if he reneged on that then nothing in that platform can be counted on.
