I used to think like you, except in the US, and towards Republicans that I reluctantly supported (like John McCain and Mitt Romney). Then Trump came around and made me realize that we would have been no better with Romney or McCain than Obama; they are the same team.
We thankfully vote for a person, not a party, so Trump was able to hijack the Republican party. You, on the other hand, don't have that choice. I'm not highly educated on Canadian politics, but looking around here, it really looks like CPC and the Liberal Party answer to the same puppet masters.
Again, look at the US: 2017-2018, Trump was President and Republicans controlled the legislative branch, but all those "conservative" Republicans that talked a big game when Obama was President did nothing when they actually had power.
I doubt that any genuine person is capable of believing the PPC could ever accomplish anything more than to solidify Trudeau's stranglehold over this country. I refuse to believe that any thinking, breathing person would actually believe the PPC will amount to anything. Which kind of narrows it down, doesn't it? Especially where the LPC's best strategy right now is to astroturf as many conservatives as possible into defecting to the PPC, because the PPC will never be in danger of winning an election, will never be a threat to the Liberals, but can drain support from their biggest adversary, the CPC.
The Liberals are for sure astroturfing on the PPC's behalf. They'd be absolutely fucking retarded not to. The PPC is the best thing that's ever happened to the LPC. In fact it's not outside the realm of possibility that this whole PPC thing is an LPC project.
Because who stands to gain from this PPC shit? Not Bernier. He's not even playing to win. He's taking the hard-line, uncompromising, fringe wing-nut approach that every politician on earth knows is guaranteed to land you at rock bottom. He's doing it deliberately, playing to lose because he likes his full parliamentary pension + the 100k he takes from PPC donations. The last thing he needs or wants is to have his pension suspended and have to go to back work. He only did this to spite the CPC and Scheer after all. He doesn't actually want the job.
The only people who gain form this PPC shit are the Liberals. So to be promoting the PPC, you'd either have to an LPC shill (your username is a bit on the nose BTW), or a level of stupid that I don't believe is plausible.
Because you're a Trudeau agent. Like the rest of the PPCtards. Whether they know it or not.

CPC is controlled opposition. Same agenda, different flavour, like any uniparty scheme.
