I can't believe we're unironically talking about the possibility of actual physical genocide in the near future. While I always suspected the Canadian government would become increasingly authoritarian with time to the point of becoming a 1984-style dystopia, which was inevitable given their policies, I never thought they would openly turn on their own citizens like this, with actual murderous intent. Nowadays, it seems the only paranoid people are the ones who believe the government cares for us and will always have our backs.
