Not garbage. We where shipping them all our “recyclable material”. All the plastic that the city collected in their green bins was shipped to China, they would process what they could, and the rest, who cares what happened to it.
Shipments ended a few years ago. The city of Calgary was storing all the plastic they collected hoping to find a buyer, but they ended up putting it in the landfill. They had stored something like 50 tractor trailers worth of compressed bails of plastic.
