It really isn't something new. Plenty of countries require proof of vaccination for yellow fever.

true about yellow fever but is only present in few countries (carried by mosquito) where as Covid is global everywhere so whats the point? why not have vaccines mandatory then for Hepatitis, typhoid when travelling...since when has a vaccine been considered to help you protect others which is sell of Covid that you are the contagion! you consider a vaccine to protect yourself!! and your choice if you want to take risk of getting sick thats why some don't bother taking prophylactics for say malaria you can still get disease anyways. why is there no talk of other vaccines in production for other Covid viruses SARS, MERS been around longer and very serious.
Yellow fever also has a mortality rate of something like 20-50%.
The whole country is hysterical over people dying in long term health care centers but you tell these people that malaria has been killing 1-3 million people EVERY YEAR SINCE THE BEGINNING OF TIME and nobody gives a shit.
