Most of the PPC policies are populist. However Max's stance on the dairy cartel comes off as anti-protectionist, which is opposite of modern day populism being protectionist (Trump, Brexit). I'm not saying Max isn't right about the dairy cartel but good luck convincing Canadians on opening up the Canadian market on that issue. Also it's hard to convince people PPC is populist when they have no party constitution after 2 years, and no leadership vote, nor mechanism for one.
