Canadian so you already are Vitamin D deficient and vitamin D is such an important vitamin that it's the only vitamin your body can produce. I doubt vitamin D is a panacea but I wouldn't be surprised being vitamin D deficient is doing you more harm than good.
If I remember correctly it was calculated your body produces 10,000iu of vitamin D in under 2hrs (6000 iu per hour?). Or was it 1600iu per hour? Either case makes the 400-800iu recommendation seam flimsy.
