A friend of mine lost a teenage daughter to suicide during the lockdown last spring. I guess at least she didn't catch covid
It's unethical and illogical to narrowly focus on one metric of societal harm and ignore ALL others for the benefit of the narrow focus.
And most of you still can't even refuse to wear a mask in a store because it's troublesome
'make me bitch'
and wait till the cops come to waste their time.
they can't be everywhere. attrition works. when the cop shows up calmly leave
Hiking in the forests with masks on. Walking on a bridge alone with a fresh ocean wind also. Don't forget the fat mall cop looking ones with the plastic face visors.
Remember when people were frantically swinging sticks about their bodies while mumbling "6 feet.... 6 feet" like fucking zombies? Some old dude and his wife nearly jumped into the bushes as I was jogging past on a wide trail.
I joked "hey, im not that fat am i?". The wife smiled, the husband had this look that was half fear, half anger and said something about corona. Who gives a shit, I just laughed and kept on running.
