This isn't about nasty words, it is about maintaining a platform in which real discussion is feasible. Spamming cuss words is free speech, but it is also unproductive speech. The issue is not repression but substance.

If you all you have to say is empty trolling garbage, then why even say anything at all? Take a look at what happened to Voat.
