Is it? That seems like wishful thinking to me. Ironically, it seems that the more blatant they are, the more people fall in line and don't question the propaganda. Maybe because they're afraid of consequences, or maybe because they don't want to have to acknowledge that certain people were right, and that their entire world view is based in layers of false premises, and that the world is in an almost irreparable state at the moment, where massive violence seems very likely.
