Yeah the COVID death toll as of late hasn't kept pace with the case, hospitalization and ICU surge. As 61 year old obese Type II diabetics in the ICU are more likely to survive from COVID than 84 year old obese Type II diabetics. In order to get these rookie numbers up, they need to infect LTC patients again.
This information is required viewing during the pandemic. A large percentage of the people who end up in the ICU with COVID are overweight (especially obese) and Type II diabetic or pre-diabetic. Instead our public health authorities just say "stay home". Meanwhile essential workers can't stay home. Wouldn't it make more sense for public health authorities to give people advice on how to boost their immune system? In this case by reversing Type II diabetes and losing weight. Apparently adipose tissue (body fat) makes it harder for the immune system to fight novel pathegons like SARS-CoV-2.
