The absolute worst are the people on YouTube, Twitter, Reddit, etc. saying they should take away our OHIP cards for being lockdown skeptics or anti-maskers. But they would never dare to suggest taking away the health cards of obese people.
"ObEsItY iS nOt CoNtAgIoUs!"
Obesity is a drain on the health system though. Before COVID, they made up the vast majority in the ER and ICU. During COVID, they make up the vast majority in the ER and ICU. And after the COVID hysteria (if there ever is going to be an end to the COVID hysteria), they will continue to make up the vast majority in the ER and ICU.
I have two relatives who died from COVID-19. One was a 93 year old dementia patient in a nursing home. The other was a 70 year old obese Type II diabetic woman with a long history of mental illness (I suspect they didn't take her seriously in the hospital. Or they deliberately intubated her for eugenic reasons. Assuming that her mental health history shows up when they run her OHIP card). Obesity has killed far more people in my family than COVID-19 even though I'm probably the only person here who knows two people who died from COVID-19. My mom was obese and she died of cancer nearly 7 years before COVID-19 was a thing. If the CV doesn't get you, heart disease, cancer, stroke, etc. will get you if you are obese.
