If you think about how few people get hospitalized with COVID vs. how many people are overweight and even obese, it's really not that easy to get hospitalized from COVID. But your risk goes up if you are overweight and it goes up significantly if you are obese. And your risk goes up if you are pre-diabetic an goes up significantly if you have Type II Diabetes. Type I Diabetes doesn't impact COVID.
