Hi all!
I'm going to to be flying out of the country from southern Ontario in about 2 months.
I've read the the rules for flying in and out, the restrictions, and have been keeping up with the things happening in the quarantine hotels.
I'd like to know if anyone else has flown out in the last few months and what your experience has been like? Anything I should be prepared for aside from the obvious? What phrasing can I use to decline to hotel stay if they try to force it?
Cheers guys.
Don’t underestimate the ability of the check in people to get things wrong. If you are going somewhere not too common be prepared. Bring along printouts of the destination’s rules and requirements and be prepared to educate the check-in people. For my Indonesian check in we had the rules, printed visas, everything. The attendant had no idea. But he finally got a senior supervisor to weigh in who was on the ball. And if possible, avoid Air Canada.
Ahh this is a good piece of advice, thank you. I'll definitely print out everything.
I purposely avoided Air Canada flights in my booking LOL
