These people are loop-holers who exploit every single benefit made available to them. This is not going to stop them. Physically they will just land in another province then find a loop-hole in the paper work.
I don’t know if this is a silver lining. International students pay full tuition. If they stop attending schools in Ontario locals suffer because there is less money in the system as a result.
Please visit Brampton and ask the locals how they feel about International students.
20 students paying a slumlord rent in cash while driving up real estate prices for actual Canadians is bad for the locals. Being limited to working only 20 hours a week but instead working illegal cash jobs is bad for the locals. Studying in Canada as a loophole to citizenship with the goal of working here and sending the money back to India is bad for our economy. International students are also a drain on the already strained hospital infrastructure in Brampton. Not to mention all of the thefts, scams and fraud these international students commit that are a drain on the system. Also all of the anti-social behaviour that the locals have to deal with.
Doesn’t matter anyways, they all do it online. They can do their shit overseas now and not even be in the country/ province
They do it online now. But the shit fest that is Ontario (and the rest of Canada) may ultimately lead to intl students looking elsewhere to study longer term. That’s what I was getting at.
Good, I live in Brampton and fuck international students, Even my Indian friends can’t stand them and the bad name they are giving their community and every hardworking Indian living here that came before them. They have no respect for anybody here, our way of life, our homes and our cities. Go talk to the small town locals north of Brampton and listen to the shit they cause up there.
