What do you think the new restrictions will be? We know there’s no evidence for anything, just that they try and look like they’re making a change.
I’m guessing:
- curfews
- no outdoor patios
- closing hair salons
- even smaller capacity limits in stores
Maybe a stay at home order? I think they’ll hold off on that for a couple weeks from now

Funny how a couple of weeks ago there was legislation tabled to make rodeo the official sport of Alberta.

My guess is no more patios, no more personal service (barbers / salons etc), no more outdoor social gatherings, and upping fines, and new fines for organizing mass protests / rodeos etc.
Stores are already 15% capacity (not really enforced though), and provincially mandated curfew would be too durastic. The existing curfew regulation makes it the responsibility of the municipality to ask for it. Kenny doesn’t want to be attached to forcibily implementing it.
