The science is settled, Florida has done the experiment, there is no health benefit for masks and shutdowns.
But the Bolshevik evidence is strong too, and Canada is correctly following that formula, so can't say that the government is making a mistake when they are hitting their goals.
That’s because you haven’t taken your meds. There was no coverup, there was one crazy bitch ranting and raving and a bunch of blue anon brainwash victims like you read a headline at some point and refused to acknowledge the cavalcade of evidence that came afterwards.
Honestly even if they wanted to there's too much inertia at this point. Over half the country is genuinely scared shitless about the pandemic and convinced that the lockdowns are helping. Remember at best ~25% of the population think the lockdowns are too strict. Any attempt to change course now would ensure their defeat at the next election.
I am in BC. Was buying milk at Walmart a few weeks ago. I'm lactose intolerant and for some reason Walmart doesn't know how to just put our milk with the regular milk (it's not that difficult) so I'm watching these ladies look at the non dairy options. I wait and wait and wait. They are taking forever and I just want to check if my damn milk is there. So I'm wearing mask (only because I don't feel like fighting with store staff when I go shopping, it's just much easier to be able to get my food) so anyway I walk up and check for my milk in the gap between the two ladies. And they start losing their minds. I just shrug and tell them "Well maybe if you didn't take 10 minutes to decide which type of soy milk you wanted I wouldn't have had to do that." I check, my milk isn't there. They give me disgusted glares and go back to standing in front of the milk.
A bit later I saw them in the checkout still giving me death glares lol.
To be honest I don't think the problem will be fixed without societal collapse. The issue stems from a believe that the problems you're facing are the government's problem to fix for you. Government's will always be happy to offer ineffective solutions to those problems as a way of buying your support. When those solutions fail the answer will always be that they just aren't spending enough money on it and if you elect them they will spend even more money.
If society collapses then there will be no one to turn to. People will have to learn to fix their own problems. Maybe when society reforms there will be enough distrust of the government to stop us from going down the same path but I doubt it will last for more than a few generations before we're right back where we started.
I saw a review of that King of the Hill episode where an asshole Canadian comes to town. It was pretty spot on pointing out that most aspects of national pride in Canada drive from insecurity that the US is actually better. To be frank over the past year I've really come to detest other Canadians. We're a country full of weak and docile people.
Canada encourages lack of culture with its multiculturalism doctrines. People come from other countries, and Canadian culture for them is whatever their culture WAS.

'member when the Florida governor tried covering up the data, and had a public health official arrested when they blew the whistle?
I remember.

The data for what? Cases? "Cases" is meaningless with how many false positives the tests spit out.
Deaths aren't even too meaningful with how incentivized the health care providers were to report every death as covid for the money.

not to mention we are full up with Karens who have smelly vaginas.
The American inferiority complex is so painful to watch. It's like how Canadians think they are important in the world stage too. Fucking delusional.
https://www.reddit.com/r/oakville/comments/n5phwm/protesters_at_vaccine_clinic_on_st_volodymyr/ saw this here because i was curious what my old local living space was like and they are all full deranged, Canada is done.

BC only has a bit but I'm holding onto it for dear life
Call Matty what you will but with a bod like that you know he can cook.
