Canada doesnt have a party system. They have one government and one ruler and the illusion of a democratic party system. The parties have the same immigration, feminism, GBA+, climate change bullshit and economic policies. It doesnt matter which one you vote for as they all support the exact same things and take orders from the same people. And as the parties are dictatorships whereby the leader rules and all vote party line or get removed, it doesnt matter if you can point to one "good conservative" or whatever party you want. The leaders are installed through the crooked party voting system where outsiders can join at any time before the leadership vote and then mass vote their candidate. Once installed, they own the party and all policy and messaging. Very easy to do and easy to prove has been done in past and present. You are offered the choice between different shit sandwiches and are supposed to pretend at the end of the day your choice matters when you are eating shit no matter what. States at least have significant autonomy to run themselves beyond federal influence and who you choose to govern there matters a lot more. The president can be chosen to an extent (still extremely curated group of candidates though). They at least have a glimmer of hope they can pick someone that might help them. Our government is a joke played on the people and anyone that thinks theres a difference between any of them is delusional.
