It doesn't matter if you think it's bullshit, it only matters that the public see an association between tiki torches and white nationalists, which means it's a bad idea to wave tiki torches at your protest (unless you want people to think you're white nationalists).
Irrelevant. It's a bad idea to wave tiki torches at protests because the public associate them with Charlottesville/white-nationalism.
What is so difficult so understand about this?
