Tesla makes no money. Continuous losses. It's had a handful of profitable quarters (not years, just a single quarter) and primarily due to the hidden economy known as carbon trading ("green" company sells their carbon tax credits for massive profits; normal citizens cant participate in this economy). There's also the entire thing with lithium and cobalt mines and the slave labour in Africa and sending children in with no shielding to collect the radioactive and deadly materials. Or the batteries that use them and the fact they create more emissions in the battery's creation than 10 years of operation of a gas based vehicle. He's a scam and has been since his Paypal mafia days. Massive funding from military and political elite and a paid front man doing snake oil sales. Note how he tripled his networth during this pandemic. That's not from being a good person.
All that said, I think electric cars are the way of the future, but by future I mean many years from now, and contingent on mass adoption of nuclear power.
The propoganda against nuclear is the clearest sign that all that the governments want from "climate change" is control of the people, because nuclear done right is the least pollution and least damage to the environment.
