Is there a way around this besides leaving? How can they make it so the only way we can come back to work is being vaccinated? they haven't made it official yet but said they are thinking about it which makes me more curious how they can force it. the nurse my mom talked to on the phone when setting up her shot told her the shot only helps you fight if off not spread so if thats true why does it matter if other people are vaccinated.

The employee is under a direction given by their employer in response to the employer’s concern that the employee might expose other individuals in the workplace to a designated infectious disease. The ESA does not require employers to pay employees during that time.

So you can continue to "work" there but can't actually go to work or get paid.
