Why do lefties hate whites, males, Christians, and Canadians so much? Residential schools surely had their problems and oppose modern values, but they were hardly the death camps lefties insist that they were. They were successful at a very difficult task at a rough age when poverty was the norm. Most students had a good or neutral experience. Bullying from other aboriginal students was by far the greatest complaint. There is no evidence that RS students died at a higher rate than other aboriginals. None. Further, even at the peak of there use around 1910, fewer than 5% of aboriginals students attended one, yet lefties blame RS for all aboriginal woes. Lefties are running another racist hate campaign.
