So I guess the government is finally admitting that only women can get pregnant.

Link if you want to post an abortion meme in the comments.
Don't have any anti-abortion memes handy? That's an easy fix. Head to I Am Prolife on instagram or Fb.
My kids keep getting taught in school that boys (i.e. trans-women) can have babies too, but I guess these statements from government officials should be enough to finally make it official that only women can get pregnant and have babies, right?
I always found it odd that leftists will always identify with the weak, disempowered & oppressed...except when it comes to the rights of the unborn, the most disempowered people on the planet.
Leftists believe a baby (fetus?) is just a clump of cells until it is born. Which is nonsense.
So somehow the woman should have a free pass to remove this "clump of cells" from her body if she feels it is "trespassing" on her body.
I understand that giving birth is scary. I'm a mom. I did it twice. I understand a lot of women feel financial/social/career pressure to not have kids. But ending a life, or a potential life, is just not right. And the pressure to have an abortion is not right either.
The problem stems from the fact that we cannot beyond a reasonable doubt pinpoint the moment a baby stops being a clump of cells and starts being a separate life.
So people have developed two polarized opinions: one the one hand are those who think that since we cannot tell for sure, we might as well err on the side of caution and decide to protect the baby the moment of conception. On the other are those who decided that since we cannot draw a clean line, we should err on the opposite side and say that it isn't "alive" until it's born and separate from the mother.
The scary part that most women don't want to deal with is the fact that at some point during the pregnancy cycle their bodies stop being wholly theirs and is shared between them and the new life growing inside them. From that moment on they are making decisions not just for themselves but for two separate lives, but somehow our society - under the guise of feminism - has been guilted into granted them immunity from decisions that negatively affect that second life.
Right.
Responsibility for your family includes your parents, siblings, spouse, and kids. It shouldn't be a "new thing" when you're pregnant.
Destruction of family and community, along with lack of personal and group responsibility, is what got us here.
Women shouldn't be dependent on their husbands because both men and women have responsibilities. But it's a team effort, family effort, church effort, community effort.
Humpty Dumpty can't be put back together again. The problems are so pervasive and interconnected there is no one solution, except maybe something like a church revival and a return to morals. Highly unlikely.
