Imagine all the edits that happen without automatic detection. There's no doubt volunteers are overwhelmed with all the article vandalism that happens on a daily basis.

Wikipedia itself is a great invention but people don't know how to use it properly.
Just like all other information, you should verify the sources and keep in mind what kind of bias is projected from the article.
