The only problem with police is that they are hired, trained, supervised and governed by police.

Oh and also they think the THIN BLUE LINE refers to them protecting society from chaos, because that's what they were told in a movie - but the movie ripped it from a report by a retired LAPD Captain who referenced it as the line within the department which prevents good cops from informing on bad cops, thereby making them bad cops and creating chaos.
