What the CBC doesn't understand is that Catholics have a Sunday Obligation to attend mass. To them it's considered sinful if they do not and they would have to go to confession for that.
Disclaimer: not a Catholic, just a Christian who went through RCIA and got cold feet. I'm pretty well versed on their faith if anyone has questions.
Keep the Sabbath Day holy.
