The original PCR test, the one that's being phased out, could only detect covid. The results told you only if you had covid or not. It did not react to influenza. If you wanted to test for influenza - or anything else - you had to use other tests.

The new tests are able to detect covid and other things, and indicate what it found. Fewer tests required. More efficient.

I realize most of the posts on .win are from the Russian Troll Farms and other places like them, put here only to disrupt our society, but there may be a few lost souls wandering around, wondering if the bullshit in here could possibly be true.
