Not a word of that is true, and it never was.
IIRC the data is:
20000 vaccine test subjects
20000 placebo controls
8 vaccine got COVID-19
160 placebo got COVID-19
(160-8)/160 = vaccine is ~95% effective
Problem is both 8 and 160 are too small... Was the vaccine really the difference? No.
There was never data to suggest the vaccines worked.
The world may have one of the most effective vaccines ever developed, but not everyone is taking it and so we remain susceptible to the delta variant.
