ROFL that's rich coming from a PPCer.
Name one time in Canadian history when a startup party (by which I mean any party other than the Liberals or the Conservatives under their various names) won an election.
Spoiler: You can't, because it's never happened. And thinking the PPC are somehow going to be the first in history to buck this trend is childishly naive. It's like banking on winning the lottery. Actually not even. Because at least it's possible to win the lottery.
And do you want to know why it's not possible for the PPC to win? Because real parties run policy conventions and leadership elections regularly in order to keep the party's priorities aligned with the public will. That means for you is, if the PPC's ideas were ever popular enough to win an election, the CPC would be running on them. That's why elections are always won by the Liberals or the Conservatives. Welcome to the real world of electoral politics.
They're still doing orders of magnitude better than the PPC.
The CPC won the popular vote last election. You guys didn't even win a seat. 😂
