Hello,
Universities (in Ontario) now require a vaccine (with exceptions) to attend:
"will require all students, staff, and faculty returning to campus to be vaccinated against COVID-19. Students, staff and faculty will need to be fully vaccinated or have a plan to do so, by Sept. 7. "
"Individuals accessing campus or other university property who have not been fully vaccinated will be required to undertake additional health and safety protocols and COVID-19 testing as recommended by Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox & Addington (KFL&A) Public Health. Queen’s will review accommodation needs for those who are unable to get vaccinated for medical or other reasons related to grounds protected by the Ontario Human Rights Code."
I'm trying to find the relevant portion in the Ontario Human Rights Code that prescribes the requirements and, more importantly, the exceptions for this mandate. I have been looking for a while and cannot find the relevant sections - could anyone assist and point me to the relevant law, exceptions and details? I need to make my case.
JCCF will have your back. If I'm not mistaken, they support such cases pro-bono. Conscientious objection on religious grounds. https://www.jccf.ca/
I was going through their website today and couldn't find anything useful. They say they take several cases, limited on how much they can, and help fight tickets and such.
I'm also very interested in this as I might have to go back to classes, but I ain't taking no vaccine. Any insights on religious exemptions (such as what religions would qualify) and health exemptions are helpful.
I'm wondering if there's a medical-type exemption. Go to a doctor and get the "risky to vaccinate" status.
I feel for you, I couldn't imagine having to deal with this bullshit when I was in school 15 years ago.
Disability is open to interpretation
The government thinks all of us have mental disorders anyway lucky for us we can't be discriminated against by law.
Maybe if I identify as Zehr/Zohan they will give exemption on mental basis.
You should not go to University since they are very expensive, you can get a comparable or better education from much more affordable online resources, almost all of the worthwhile social aspects of university have been wiped out by social distancing and / or social justice.
This was going to be a longer rant but you get the idea.
I don't disagree, but I'm already way in and rather close to graduation. It is worthwhile for me (international student, PhD) to complete.
If I was only at the beginning of my career, I would probably take a trade school or apprenticeship and go from there.
I've seen this claim all over the place but no source or proof. In particular about the Moderna and Pfizer ones. People keep saying they are "associated with the HEK-293 cell line" but... I haven't seen a proof or anything that has weight in court.
I agree. But can this be proven in court?
