The astroturfing is real. Every day I'm killing accounts that are a year old but have no history except to come in here a promote a certain fringe party in order to help the Liberals.
It's more likely that you know users from the "other Canadian community dot win" are trying to trigger you into a response so they have a laugh over there.
Except these accounts are a year old with no history. That predates the drama you're referring to.

I'm seeing all kinds of those. Someone made those accounts long before that drama started here. And they apparently saved them up for this occasion.
Best guess is it's leftists astroturfing for the PPC. A certain OGFT troll said they'd be doing that.
