Pierre Trudeau ran residential schools, the money for that is now in Justin's trust fund. Will he be giving them back that money that was actually made off residential schools, or will he be giving them our money for his family's crimes? My family never ran a single residential school, why does my family have to pay?

Yes and it was pointless
It's never pointless, there's no such thing as a lost vote. Every political party looks at where every vote goes, do not believe in the disenfranchisement of the right. What you do matters. The left will tell you that it's useless to fight them. Don't believe their lies.
