I noticed r/Canada becoming a lot more right wing since Trump is no longer President. People are finally focusing on our problems. It's as if it opened everyone's eyes. I've always said Trump is great for Americans but he's horrible for Canadians.
I think it's more a function which party holds the prime minister's office. The longer a PM is in office, the less his supporters have to say and the more his detractors have to say. Trudeau's list of accomplishments is still pretty much just "Dude weed LMAO", whereas his list of failures, gaffes and scandals is towering and continues to grow. I mean at this point, how do you go online and and even attempt to defend Justin Trudeau? Like what would you actually say? "Nice hair"? There's nothing good to say about that retard so it's all just negative comments.
And when his popularity collapses on social media, so do the narratives he and his ilk try to push - narratives like "Unlimited immigration is good, the more immigration the better".
That such an insanely illogical narrative ever held sway with significant portion of Canadians is a testament to just how abjectly retarded a lot of voters are.
