"As of Thursday, 217 unvaccinated Albertans were in hospital with COVID-19, compared to 282 patients with at least 1 shot.
But almost 90% of the province has one dose, which means the "rate per 100,000 people" is a more telling metric to measure admissions.
By that standard, about 24 unvaccinated people per 100,000 are in an Alberta hospital.
That rate drops to fewer than eight after just one shot. "
Huh? CTV and Dr: 'it doesnt matter because of some statistical jiggery pokery'.
Like....ok? The only number that matters is: Is the number of unjabbed in hospital higher than the jabbed? Yes or no? Oh....it isnt?
But, let's humour them, and go with with their statistical analysis. I'm no maths whizz, but 24 unjabbed people in hosp per 100,000 means 0.024% right? (move the decimal place to the left 3 times).
So thats 1056 allegedly unjabby people (and how are they really defining unjabbed these days? Got it a week ago? A day? 12 days? Only 1 shot? 2?) in a province with 36,000 hospital beds (AHS website). That's 3% at worst.
97% of beds are not taken up by the non jabby having the corona.
Now add on the (in)famously unreliable PCR test at cycle gains to 30+ that could 'find' the Xi bug in a rarified sample of Mars' atmosphere.

Yes it does.
Real life 'The Onion' and 'Babylon Bee' headlines.

Hooooo wee! Hell of a "pandemic" this is.
