"... loosely woven cloth products provide the least protection and layered finely woven products offer more. Well-fitting disposable surgical masks and KN95s...are more protective than all cloth masks, and well-fitting respirators, including N95s, offer the highest level of protection.
...wear the most protective mask you can that fits well and that you will wear consistently.”
Ok. "layered finely woven products offer more". How much more? In what way?
"disposable surgical masks and Kn95's...respirators offer the highest"
How much higher? I'm going to try and find some mask studies. Must be some out there.
As for the CDC saying:
“wear the most protective mask you can that fits well and that you will wear consistently.”
No.
In fact, when I have to use one, I make sure it fits very poorly.
I either use a mossy oak perforated hunting gaiter (about 80% breathable) or a 90% breathable mesh one from https://www.oxyflowpro1.com/#/
I reccomend the double incognito mask, or, for ultra Branch Cult Covidian environments (airplanes, Karens around, your Covidiot Cultist Boss) I reccomend the triple incognito.
Not associated with them, I make no money out of it, just a satisfied customer passing on a good source of Canadian well made, 100% useless masks.
We can all chip in and buy Tuchodi one, Valentines day gift.
That's a funny way of interpreting the article headline:
"The C.D.C. conceded that cloth masks do not protect against the virus as effectively as other masks."
"... loosely woven cloth products provide the least protection and layered finely woven products offer more. Well-fitting disposable surgical masks and KN95s...are more protective than all cloth masks, and well-fitting respirators, including N95s, offer the highest level of protection.
