There is no evidence that the death rate at residential school students was greater than that for the same demographic who did not attend for the same time. Yes, the terrible plagues of centuries past kill aboriginals, both students and not, at a much higher rate than others. Tragic? Certainly. Criminal? Certainly not.
Racists are exaggerating problems at residential schools centuries ago in order to justify divisive and racist policies. Finding bodies in a graveyard used by the whole community next to a RS should never have been a news storey.
